How To Add An Already Connected Device Into The Amcrest View Pro 2 App

There are two methods that can be used when adding an already connected Wi-Fi device into the Amcrest View Pro 2 app. The first is the P2P method and the other is using the integrated device search option. This article will show how to add using P2P, however, if you are interested in the device search method, click here.

Note: Ensure the mobile device and camera are also on the same network before adding it into the app. 

Step 1: Open the Amcrest View Pro 2 app, tap Add Device, and select Scan QR Code P2P.

Step 2: Scan the QR code found on your device or enter the S/N in manually if needed and select your device type. Step 3: 

Step 3: Tap Add An Already Connected Camera and select P2P Setup. 

Step 4: Enter a name for your device as well as the device password and tap Save.
