How To Set Push Notifications Using The Amcrest View Pro 2 App

Push notifications will allow the app to send your mobile device a notification once an event such as motion detection or other features are triggered. For more information on how to set up push notifications, please refer to the information provided below. 

Note: iOS users may need to select the event using the pop up notification to populate the event notification and thumbnail into the Event menu of the app. 

Step 1: Open the Amcrest View Pro 2 app and select your device, and access the Device Details. Tap Push Notifications. 

Note: Push notifications can also be accessed in the alarm settings portion of the device settings menu. 

Step 2: Tap Enable and select which push types will be applicable to your specific camera. A schedule can be set for push notifications, however, will be set to trigger 24/7. Tap Save. 

Note: Push types include, motion detection, IVS (tripwire, intrusion, abandoned object, human and vehicle detection, etc.) 

Step 3: Select the Events tab on the main menu to access push events. Please note, as a reminder, iOS users may need to select the event using the pop up notification to populate the event notification and thumbnail into the Event menu.
