The night vision settings for your camera can be set or modified using the Amcrest View Pro 2 app. This includes IR mode, white light LEDs (color night vision), and smart illumination settings. For more information on how to set these settings please refer to the information provided below.
Note: If accessing from an NVR, please make sure to access the camera directly as night vision settings and profiles cannot be adjusted through an NVR.
Step 1: Open the Amcrest View Pro 2 app and select your device. Tap Light/Siren.
Note: If your camera does not support the light/siren option, use the "Night Vision" option to enable or disable the night vision function of your device.
Step 2: In the Light/Siren menu, tap the light settings option.
Step 3: Set a schedule (if necessary), profile, fill light, and mode option. Tap Save.
The Fill Light menu will provide all night vision modes associated with your device. IR Mode will allow the camera to illuminate the IR LEDs while in night vision mode. White light mode will illuminate the white light LEDs for color night vision, and Smart Illumination will set the IR LEDs in night vision mode, however, once an object is detected, the white light LEDs will flash.
