The call detection feature allows the camera to detect whether a human in detection area is on the phone or actively making a phone call. Once detected an alarm or notification will be sent. Select a channel and ensure a Smart Plan has been activated in the Smart Plan menu for call detection before proceeding.
Step 1: Log into the web user interface (web UI) for your camera. For more information on how to access the web UI for your camera click here
Step 2: Navigate to Setup>>Smart Thermal>>Smart Plan. Click the Call Detection icon and click Save.
Step 3: Navigate to Setup>>Smart Thermal>>Call Detection. Click Enable.
Step 4: Use your mouse to adjust or drag the detection area on the screen (4 corners of the area). Select any additional options such as send email, siren, or warning light that will be activated once the rule has been triggered. Click Save to apply the rule.
