How to Switch From Color Night Vision (Spotlights) to IR Mode (IP5M-1190W)

The camera will come default to color night vision. Color night vision is achieved using the spotlights on the front of the camera once night vision has been activated. This setting can only be changed using the camera's web user interface (web UI) inside a web browser. If you would like to turn off the color night vision spotlights and have the camera switch to black and white IR mode, please refer to the information provided below. 

Step 1: Open a web browser and access the web user interface. For more information on how to access the web UI for your device, click here. 

Step 2: Navigate to Setup>>Camera>>Configuration and open the Illuminator menu. 

Step 3: In the Illuminator menu, click on the Fill Light dropdown menu and select IR Mode. This will change night vision from spotlight mode to IR mode. 

Note: If you would still like to use color night vision but would like to control the intensity of the white light based on conditions in the area or set an illuminator delay which will illuminate the light based on a set duration, you can use the built-in Smart Illumination option. 

Step 4: Click Save.
