How To Set a Motion/Human Detection Schedule Using The Amcrest Link App.

A detection schedule can be set within the Amcrest Link app that will allow the camera to only detect human/motion detection events during a specific day and time. By default, the camera will be set to detect objects continuously (24/7) however, for more information on how to set a motion/human detection schedule please refer to the details provided below. 

Step 1: Access the Detection Settings menu for your device. To access this menu, locate your device on the home menu and tap Settings

Step 3: Use the Human Detection and Motion Detection options to enable or disable these options. Enabling motion detection and human detection together will allow both human and basic motion detection events to be detected by the camera.

Step 4: Tap Detection Schedules

Step 5: Tap Schedule. Set a start and end time for the schedule for instance, in this example we have it set to record events between 6am and 6pm all days of the week. Tap Save

Step 6: The motion schedule will now be applied to the device. To add any additional motion schedules to this device, tap + Add a Schedule if needed.
