The Message menu allows you to view and display device specific events in a list, this includes motion detection and human detection events stored on a microSD card or stored in the cloud. To access this menu, open the Amcrest Link app, access your device from the home menu, and select the bell icon on the bottom banner.
A list of events captured by the camera will be displayed, use the microSD card icon to access events from a microSD card, tap the cloud icon to access events stored on the cloud.
Viewing and Downloading a Message Event
By default, the app will display all events captured for the day, however, to view events from other days, tap the "Today" option and select a different day in the calendar. A blue dot underneath the day indicates events are available.
To view an event, select the event you would like to view and tap on the event. The app can also filter to only display motion or human detection events. Tap the filter icon and select a filter to display only those events for the day.
The event will begin to play, to hear audio, tap the speaker icon. If you would like to take a snapshot from the event, tap the snapshot icon. To view the video at different speeds, click the icon.
To download the event, make sure the event is selected and tap the download icon .
The event will be downloaded to your mobile device after the download has finished. The same process to download a video can be done between either a microSD card or using the cloud.
