Step 3: Click on Draw Rule to begin drawing the detection area on the interface. This rule requires you to draw at least a four-point area on the interface to function. To draw an area, click the mouse on the interface and move it down or up to create a line. Once the line is created, move the mouse left or right to create another line and repeat the process until the detection area is created.

An optional object filter can be set that will allow the rule only to be triggered if it detect certain objects such as a humans, vehicles, non-motor vehicles, or unlicensed vehicles. Set the interval (the amount of time the object or objects will remain in the area before it is triggered), and the duration (the amount of time the rule will be activated).

Note: Optional active deterrents such as a siren and red/blue LEDs can be enabled that activate once the rule is triggered by enabling the Warning Light and Siren option. Email notifications can be set as well that will send a snapshot of the event to your email by enabling Send Email and Snapshot options. Click Save
