How The Amcrest License Plate Reader Camera Works In Amcrest NVR

The Amcrest LPR camera can be added to an Amcrest NVR using the same registration method as our other Amcrest IP cameras. For more information on how to add an Amcrest IP camera into an Amcrest NVR, click here. Please note, the camera does not have built-in motion detection, human detection, or other AI features, as the camera does not support video playback, motion detection, or push notifications. It will be for live view purposes only.

All LPR query information, such as viewing snapshots of license plate details, etc. will be only available using the web user interface in a web browser.
