How To Use An Intrusion Rule On An Amcrest Camera (IP12M-F2380EW)

Intrusion allows the camera to trigger an event if an object appears or crosses a set intrusion area set by the user. After adding the rule, the interface will display the rule as enabled, use your mouse to draw a detection area on the interface. Step 1: Open a web user interface (Web UI) of your device and log in. For more information on how to access the web UI, click here.

Step 2: Access the main menu and click on AI, select IVS, and click Next to continue. 

Step 3: Click Add Rule and select Intrusion from the dropdown menu. Use your mouse to draw a detection area on the interface. 

Step 4: In the Action menu, set the rule to trigger if the object appears or crosses the detection area. 

Step 5: Click Playback to retain events to a microSD card. This will allow you to view IVS events in the playback menu. Select any additional options, such as a audio linkage, which will allow the camera to produce an audible siren, or email to send a notification of the event to an entered email address.
