How To Add An AMLINK POE Camera Into An Amcrest NVR

A third-party camera, such as a AMLINK camera, can be added into the device using the ONVIF protocol. This will be the default protocol when adding this type of camera into the NVR. Please note, when adding third-party devices into the NVR, options such as IVS and other options may be limited. Before proceeding, make sure your NVR and your cameras are on the same network while adding it to the NVR. Step 1: Open a web browser and log into your device. For more information on how to access the web user interface (web UI) for your device, click here.

Step 2: Click on Management and select Camera. 

Step 3: Click Device Search and select your devices from the device list. The device will have a default ONVIF protocol in the interface, click Add. 

Step 4: If the camera is set to default, the password will be admin and will register as online (green), however, if the camera is red, the password may need to be entered manually. To modify the device password, click the pencil icon under Edit. Enter the camera's password and click OK. 

Step 6: The camera will register as online and ready for use.
