A tour is a predefined sequence of camera movements and views. This is particularly useful for patrolling areas or monitoring multiple locations within a surveillance system. Amcrest NVRs and DVRs offer a convenient way that allows you to set up tours directly from the device itself eliminating the need for additional software or apps. For more information on how to set up a tour using your Amcrest device please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Log into the NVR directly or using the NVR's web user interface (web UI) using a web browser. For more information on how to access the web UI for your device, click here.
Step 2: Select Display.
Note: The main menu design may vary model to model.
Step 3: Select Tour Setting and click Enable.
The Motion Tour option can be used to allow the cameras in a selected group to automatically move to areas where motion is detected. Set the Live Layout option allows you to create a custom layout of your camera views that can be used during a tour. This provides a more interactive and visually appealing way to monitor multiple areas simultaneously. Set the Interval to the amount of time you would like each view to display before it is switched to a different channel.
Step 4: To create a new custom tour group (which channels will be applicable to the tour) click Add option and select which channels to apply to the tour. To modify an existing tour, select the tour group and select Modify. Select which channels will apply to the tour and click OK.
Step 5: Click Apply to save the tour settings. The selected channels will have a tour icon on the local UI indicating a tour is applied to that channel.
