TURN OFF THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS

Since we will be working with electrical wiring, it is important to shut off the power to your floodlight at the electrical breakers of your home to ensure no power is flowing through the system.

DISCLAIMER: This guide is for informational purposes only. Working with electricity can be dangerous unless proper safety precautions are taken. We recommend hiring a licensed electrician if you are not comfortable or experienced with the tools and processes described in the steps provided in this article.

Installing the Floodlight

Step 1: Turn the power off at the breaker. Remove any existing hardware from your junction box and
disconnect any wires. Inspect the junction box to make sure water cannot get into it.

Step 2: Attach the included mounting plate to the junction box.

Warning: If you do not have an installed junction box, we highly recommended you hire a licensed electrician to complete the installation of your camera. Be sure to comply with your local codes.

Step 3: Loosen the adjustment knobs located at the base of your floodlights. Then, adjust the angle of the floodlights to make space for the mounting screw hole located between the camera and flood lights.

Step 4: Attach one end of the hook to the mounting plate, and the other end to the edge of the camera so you can free your hands for installation.

Step 5: The copper wire from the camera is the ground (GND) wire. Run the ground wire from the camera through the designated ground screws on the mounting plate. Then connect the ground wire to the reserved ground wire in the junction box. Use the included wire nuts to connect the wires.

• The white wire from the camera is the neutral wire, connect this wire to the reserved neutral wire.
• The black wire from the camera is the hot (live) wire, connect this wire to the reserved hot wire.
Note: Use the included wire nuts to connect the wires.

Step 7: Ensure all live wiring is covered. Feed all the wires into the junction box. Secure the camera to the
mounting plate using the included mounting screw.
