Amcrest DVR's have feature a built-in security feature that will audibly alert you when an abnormality within the system is detected. These event abnormalities can range from HDD (hard drive) or No Disk errors, Network errors, etc.

This will disable the audible buzzer alert from your system when not using a HDD or if a HDD is not detected properly.. Step 1: From a computer or laptop access the web UI for your device and login with the username and password associated with your DVR. For more information on how to access your device locally on a laptop or PC, please click here If this is your first time logging in, the default username and password will be admin.
Step 2: Once logged in, click Alarm on the main menu and select Abnormality.
Step 3: In the Abnormality menu, disable the feature listed in the disk menu. Click Apply.
