How To Use the Quick Pick Feature On An Amcrest EI NVR.

The quick pick feature provides a one-click search function to locate human/vehicle events. Only supported on cameras that support the quick pick feature. This feature is available in the local GUI only and can be accessed in the shortcut menu on the live view channel or in the Search (Playback) menu. Please make sure smart motion detection (human/vehicle) detection is enabled on the IPC side before using the quick pick option. Accessing Quick Pick Using The Live View

Step 1: Log into the local GUI of your NVR and select the IPC to access the live view menu. Hover the mouse pointer in the top center of the screen to display the shortcut menu and select Quick Pick

Note: If the option is grayed out or unavailable the feature is not supported on the IPC. 

Step 2: Locate the object on the screen and use your mouse to adjust a search area around the object. Once the area is set, click OK

Step 3: This will launch the quick pick interface. Locate the similarity events and select or play an event. 

Note: If you would like to export an event, insert a USB flash drive into a USB port on your NVR and click Backup to export the event to the USB flash drive.

Step 1: Log into the local GUI of your NVR and access the Search menu. Select a channel from the Camera Name column and click the play icon to access the Quick Pick option. 

Note: If the option is grayed out or unavailable the feature is not supported on the IPC. 

Step 2: Locate the object on the screen and use your mouse to adjust a search area around the object. Once the area is set, click OK

Step 3: This will launch the quick pick interface. Locate the similarity events and select or play an event.
