To change the address on your Amcrest Smart Home account, please have access to the email address on file (a verification code will be sent there) and to your new email address. The change can be made using the Amcrest Smart Home app. For more information on how to change an Email address, please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Log into your Amcrest Smart Home account on your mobile device.
Step 2: Tap on Account.
Step 3: Tap on Manage Account.
Step 4: In the Email section, tap Change.
Step 5: A verification code will be sent to the current email address on file associated with your Amcrest Smart Home account. You will have 15 minutes to enter the code before it expires, if the code expires, tap Resend to resend the code. Enter the code into the interface and Tap Next.
Step 6: Enter the new email address you would like to use into the Bind email field and tap Send Verification Code. A new code will be sent to the new email address.
Step 7: Enter the verification code sent to your new email address into the app and tap OK.
Step 8: Once the email has been verified, you can now use the new email address to log into your Amcrest Smart Home account.
Note: If you are having issues changing your email address or a verification code is not sent, you can delete the email address and create a new account for the new email address. Please note, before deleting your existing account, delete all cameras off your account before deleting it.
