How To Set Your Amcrest XI NVR To A Static IP (NV6864-XI)

It is highly recommended to set your device on a static IP address. This will ensure the device has a more stable connection with your network as well as provide a more efficient means of accessing your device remotely. A static IP address can be setup locally or using the web user interface on a laptop/PC. Step 1: Log into your device locally or using the web UI. For more information on how to access the web UI, click here.  

Step 2: Click on Management and select Network. 

Step 3: In the TCP/IP menu, click the Modify icon next to the applicable NIC card field. 

Step 4: Select the Static option and click OK. 

Step 5: Ensure the DHCP option is disabled and click Apply to set the static IP settings.
