Keeping the firmware on your NVR up to date is an important part of overall system health. For security purposes, it is highly recommended to upgrade the firmware on your device every time a new firmware is available.

Step 1: Open a web browser and log into your device. For more information on how to access the web user interface (web UI) for your device, click here.
Step 2: In the interface, click on Maintain.
Step 3: In the Maintain menu, click on Manager and select the Update tab..
Step 4: Select Download the latest Firmware.
This will take you to a firmware downloads website. Be sure to subscribe to access the firmware downloads page for your device. Locate and download the firmware file for your device (if applicable) and save it to your computer.
Step 5: Once the firmware file has been saved to your computer, click on Browse and locate the firmware file that was saved on your computer. The firmware file will be a ".bin" file. Load the file into the interface and click on Update.
Allow the system to upgrade. The device will reset after the system has been upgraded. The device has now been upgraded to the latest firmware.
