The EPTZ menu allows the user to observe specific areas of interest while using IVS using different display modes. IVS (tripwire or intrusion) must be configured to use this option. Please note, this is a fixed-focal lens camera and does not PTZ, however, this mode will allow the camera to track up to 5 targets simultaneously in the area using different display modes. Each area of interest in the interface will be color-coded and zoomed in for better control.
This feature will require the use of a .exe plugin, please make sure the .exe plugin is installed on your computer before enabling. If there are different display modes, use your mouse to adjust and place the color-coded areas of interest on the screen. For more information on how to use EPTZ please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Open a web browser and log into your device. For more information on how to access the web UI, click here.
Step 2: Click on EPTZ, then click Enable.
Step 3: Select a display mode. A display mode will determine how many regions of interest are displayed and configurable. Use your mouse to move or customize the regions of interest on the screen.
Step 4: Enable the Auto Track option to provide a tracking overlay of the object once it has been detected.
Step 5: Set the tracking duration, by default it will be tracked until it is not detected by the camera anymore. However, it can be customized to track from up to 300 seconds if needed.
Step 6: Click Apply. Return to the Live menu to view the set regions of interest.
Note: After configured, EPTZ can be enabled or disabled on the live view menu by selecting the ETPZ option and enabling or disabling the real time display option.
