Crowd Gathering is used to detect a group of people that enter or exit a specific area set by the user on the live view screen. After adding the rule, the interface will display the rule as enabled, use your mouse to draw a detection area on the interface. Step 1: Open a web user interface (Web UI) of your device and log in. For more information on how to access the web UI, click here.
Step 2: Access the main menu and click on AI. Select a General or Schedule plan, if you would like more information on how different intelligence modes work on your camera, click here.
Step 3: Click Next. Select IVS from the Smart Plan menu and click Next.
Step 4: Click Add Rule and select Crowd Gathering from the dropdown menu. Use your mouse to draw a detection area on the interface. The default duration in which the objects can remain in the area will be 10 seconds, however, can range up to 300 seconds if needed.
Step 5: Click Playback to retain events to a microSD card. This will allow you to view IVS events in the playback menu. Select any additional options, such as a siren, which will allow the camera to produce an audible siren, or email to send a notification of the event to an entered email address.
