How To Setup A Fast Moving Rule On An Amcrest Camera (IP8M-FCT2999EW-AI)

Fast-Moving allows the camera to trigger an event if an object, such as a human or vehicle, quickly moves in an area set by the user. After adding the rule, the interface will display the rule as enabled, use your mouse to draw a detection area on the interface. For more information on how to setup the rule please refer to the information provided below.

Step 1: Open a web user interface (Web UI) of your device and log in. For more information on how to access the web UI, click here.

Step 2: Access the main menu and click on AI. Select a General or Schedule plan, if you would like more information on how different intelligence modes work on your camera, click here.

Step 3: Click Next. Select IVS from the Smart Plan menu and click Next

Step 4: Click Add Rule and select Fast-Moving from the dropdown menu. Use your mouse to draw a detection area on the interface. Please note, an option effective target filter can be set that will allow the rule only to trigger when a human or vehicle crosses the area.

Step 5: Click Playback to retain the events to a microSD card. This will allow you to view IVS events in the playback menu. Select any additional options such as a siren, which will allow the camera to product an audile siren, or email to send a notification of the event to an entered email address.
