How To Setup a Fast-Moving Rule (IP4M-T1044EW-AI)

The Fast-Moving feature allows the camera to trigger an event if an object, such as a human or vehicle, quickly moves in an area set by the user. For more information on how to setup a fast-moving rule, please refer to the information provided below. 

Step 1: Log into the web user interface (web UI) for your camera. For more information on how to access the web UI for your camera click here

Step 2: In the web UI, click on Setup>>Event>>Smart Plan. Click on the IVS icon and click Save

Note: If a Smart Plan is not enabled properly on your camera IVS features will not work. Please make sure to enable the Smart Plan feature before continuing. 

Step 3: Click on the IVS option in the Event menu then click on the ( + ) icon to add the rule. From the drop down menu, select Fast-Moving. Click on Draw Rule to begin setting a detection area. Use your mouse to draw an area on the interface.

Step 4: Use the sensitivity slider to adjust the overall speed threshold of the rule. An optional object filter can be set that will allow the rule only to be triggered if it detects an effective object such as a human or vehicle. You can choose both filters if needed.

Step 5: Enable the Record option as well as any other options you would like to set for this option and click Save to save and apply the settings.
