How To Physically Install Your Camera (ASH47)

After the camera has been successfully connected to your network and added to your Amcrest Smart Home account you can begin physically installing the camera. While installing the camera, please make sure the installation surface is strong enough to support 3x the weight of the camera and the bracket. For more information on how to physically install your camera, please refer to the information provided below. 

Ceiling Mount

Step 1: Peel off the U-shaped mounting template and stick it onto the desired installation area. 

Step 2: Drill holes into the mounting surface as per the mounting template marks and insert the included wall anchors. 

Step 3: Secure the mounting bracket to the installation surface using the included mounting screws. 

Step 4: Align the mceclip1.png on top of the camera with the mceclip2.png on the bracket, then fit the two parts together. 

Step 5: Rotate the camera counterclockwise until it is locked into place. Make sure the mceclip1.png icon aligns with the mceclip3.png icon. 

Step 6: Apply power to the camera and allow it to initialize. After initialization is complete, adjust the angle of the camera accordingly. 

Wall Mount

Step 4: Align the mceclip1.png on top of the camera with the mceclip2.png on the bracket, then fit the two parts together. 

Step 5: Rotate the camera counterclockwise until it is locked into place. Make sure the mceclip1.png icon aligns with the mceclip3.png icon. 

Step 6: Apply power to the camera and allow it to initialize. After initialization is complete, adjust the angle of the camera accordingly.
