Performing a factory reset on your camera will revert the camera back to its original factory default settings. To perform a physical factory reset, make sure the device is powered on and follow the instructions provided below. Please note, you will need a Phillips head screwdriver to complete the reset.
Step 1: Locate the hatch on the bottom of the camera. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the 2 screws to open the hatch.
Step 2: Locate the reset button above the microSD slot. Press and hold the reset button for 30-45 seconds and allow the camera to reset. If you are unable to press and hold the reset button you can use the included wrench or similar object to hold the button down.
Step 3: Once the reset is complete place the hatch back onto the camera and secure it to the camera using a Phillips head screwdriver. The camera has now been factory reset and reverted to its original factory settings. This includes usernames, passwords, and other settings. The default username and password will always be admin.
