How to Format a Hard Drive on a 960H DVR

Formatting a hard drive will remove all data stored on the device. The hard drive can be formatted manually or via the device's interface. Step 1: Log into your DVR. 

Step 2: Navigate to Devices >> HDD. 

Step 3: Select your hard drive from the HDD menu and click Init to format the hard drive.

Note: Some models may have the "Init" option as format. Each option will format the hard drive.
