Enabling Audio Recording on a 960H

To enable audio recording on your DVR please make sure a RCA microphone is properly plugged into the Audio In port on the back of your DVR and placed in the desired area the audio recording will take place.

Step 1: Log into your DVR and access the Main Menu. 

Step 2: From the main menu, click on the Recording tab. 

Step 3: Select the channel you would like to enable for audio from the Camera No. drop down menu.

Step 4: In the Encode tab, mark the checkbox for Record Audio to enable audio recording for the selected channel. 

Note: If you have multiple cameras that you would like to setup to for audio recording you can repeat the process for each channel or you can select the "Copy To" button and select which channels you would like to enable. Make sure to click OK after you have selected your channels. 

Step 5: Click on Apply to save the settings.
