How to Set a Static IP Using Amcrest View Pro

Having a static IP address set up for your device will ensure a more stable connection as well as provide a more efficient means of accessing your device remotely. A static IP is useful as well if the device goes offline or loses power. When a static IP is set the device's IP address will remain the same.

Step 1: Open the Amcrest View Pro app on your mobile device.

Step 2: Tap on the main menu (  ) located in the upper left-hand corner and tap on Configuration Center. 

Step 3: From the Configuration Center menu, tap on IP Settings. 

Step 4: Select your device from the IP Settings menu

Step 5: Tap on the Mode option to display the dropdown menu. tap on Static to set the device to a static IP address. 

Step 6: The IP setting will be saved once a selection has been made. Tap on the back arrow () to exit the IP Settings menu.
