How To Turn Off the Indicator Light.

If the indicator light on your device is causing issues with your overall experience you can turn it off. The indicator light can be modified for specific profiles such as day and night. To turn off the indicator light on your device you will need to have access to the web user interface (Web UI) for your device on a laptop or PC. Step 1: Log into the web UI for your device on a laptop or PC. 

Step 2: In the web UI, navigate to Setup>>Camera>>Configuration>>Indicator Light. 

Step 3: In the indicator light menu you will notice a few options. Below is a description of the options listed in this menu:

Profile: This dropdown box allows the user to select which profile to modify. The 3 options are Day, Night, and Normal.

Mode: This dropdown box allows the user to select whether to turn the indication light on or off. 

To turn off the indicator light, select which profile you would like to modify (day or night) and then in the Mode menu, select Off. 

Step 4: To save and apply the selected settings to your device, click on Save. This will turn off the indicator light on your device.
