How To Verify P2P Status

For IP Cameras
Step 1: Log into the web user interface for your device. For more information on how to access the web user interface (web UI) for your device, click here
Step 2: In the web UI, click on Setup>>Network>>TCP/IP>>P2P.
In the P2P menu, click on the check box in the Enable field to enable or disable your P2P connection. The status of the P2P connection will be listed in the Status field below. To save any changes to your device, click on Save.
For DVRs / NVRs
Step 1: Log into your DVR locally and on the main menu access Settings>>Network
Step 2: Inside the network tab, click on the P2P settings menu.
In the P2P menu, click on the check box in the Enable field to enable or disable your P2P connection. The status of the P2P connection will be listed in the Status field below. To save any changes to your device, click on Apply and then click on Save.
P2P status can also be verified via the web UI of a DVR or NVR. For more information on how to access the web UI for your DVR or NVR click here
Once in the web UI, click on the Settings ( ) icon. In the settings menu, click on Network>>TCP/IP>>P2P.
In the P2P menu, click on the check box in the Enable field to enable or disable your P2P connection. The status of the P2P connection will be listed in the Status field below. To save any changes to your device, click on Save.
