Step 1: Open a web browser and log in to the web user interface (web UI) for the camera. For more information on how to access the web UI for your camera, click here.

The image quality for WDR (wide dynamic range) can be set to 0 if needed. The WDR settings can be adjusted in the image menu by navigating to Setup>>Camera>>Image and set the WDR slider to 0 in the nighttime profile (scene) option. Adjust any additional light parameters if needed.

Step 4: This model does not have a built-in Wiegand connection so an additional 26bit Wiegand converter will be required for installation.

White & Red: A1 will connect to port A.

White & Orange will connect to port B.

G/12V on the converter will need to connect to a power source 12V DV PSU.

Note: The GND wire on the camera is not required, it is for an RS232, 3-pin connection.

G D0 D1 on the converter will output the RS485 to Wiegand, connect this to the access controller (D0 will connect to Data/D0, D1 will connect to Clock/D1, and G will connect to 0V).

The door settings for the ACU should be set for ANPR (license plate reader) devices.

The plate number entered will be displayed in the interface. Click Apply to complete the setup.

Once the camera detects the license plate number of the entered plate it will send the converted token number to the Net2 Plus and if the token is correct the controller will open the door. Logs of the event can be viewed in the Net2 Plus interface.
