By default the date and time format of the device can be changed. This can be achieved locally or using the web user interface in a web browser. Please note, if using push notifications in the Amcrest View Pro app, please make sure the date & time format of the camera is the same date & time format of the NVR (YYYY-MM-DD), 24-Hour. If the two devices have separate date & time formats it could affect the overall accuracy of the notification. For more information on changing the date & time format, please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Open a web browser on your computer and log into your device's web user interface (web UI). For more information on how to access the web UI, click here.
Step 2: Click on Management and select System.
Step 3: Select the Date & Time tab and ensure the format is set to YYYY MM DD.
Step 4: Click Save.
If using push notifications, please ensure the time format in the app is set to 24-Hour. If the time format is set to 12-Hour, events retained after 12pm (noon) may not be retained properly to the microSD card due to format limitations. To adjust the date and time format in the Amcrest View Pro app, open the app and select your device. Select the options icon ( ) and select Configuration Center.
Tap Date & Time and select the device. Ensure the Time Format is set to the same date & time format as the NVR.
