If you are experiencing issues with cloud recordings or other related issues to cloud, setting a more public DNS setting for your device will help to resolve the issue. For more information on how to set a DNS setting for your camera, please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Log into the web UI for your device on a computer. For more information on how to access the web UI for your device, click here
Step 2: Once you are logged into the web UI, go to Setup>>Network>>TCP/IP. Then, in this Mode section, set the mode radio button to Static. This will set your camera to a more consistent static IP address.
Step 3: In the Preferred DNS Server and Alternate DNS Server section, you can set the settings to the image listed below:
Preferred DNS Server | 8.8.8.8. |
Alternate DNS Server | 8.8.4.4. |
Step 4: Once you have finished setting your DNS server settings, click on the Save option to apply the settings to your device.
