How to Enable and Disable the Deterrent Light and Siren

The deterrent light and siren can be disabled on your camera using the Amcrest Smart Home app. 

Please note, if the spotlight and siren are on and you wish to turn them off click on the Siren and Light buttons in the live view interface to turn the siren and light off. 

However, if you would like to disable these features permanently, please refer to the information provided below. 

Step 1: Open the Amcrest Smart Home app and access the camera and tap on the Settings icon. 

Step 2: Tap on the Motion Detection option to access the menu. 

Step 3:  Tap on the Spotlight Activation and the Siren Activation toggle switches to disable both features. 

Note: To enable the spotlight and siren, click on the respective toggle switches again to enable the features.
