Linking a camera to the alarm hub will allow the user to set a preset in the hub which will allow the camera to automatically pan/tilt to a specified location once an alarm sensor has been triggered. Linking the camera to the hub will also allow the camera to retain a 30-second clip of an event after the alarm sensor has been triggered.
If you are retaining events, please ensure the linked camera has a microSD card inserted into the microSD card slot of the camera before linking it to the alarm hub.
Step 1: Open the Amcrest Smart Home app and tap on the sensor you would like to use to link your camera.
Step 2: Tap on Link Cameras.
Step 3: Tap on which camera you would like to link.
