How to Disable the Color Night Vision Spotlights on Your Camera (IP5M-T1273EW-AI)

This camera comes equipped with two white light LEDs on the front of the camera that help to illuminate the darkness for color night vision. The spotlight LEDs can be disabled however disabling these spotlights will result in the camera having limited visibility during nighttime operation as there are no built-in IR LEDs for traditional black and white IR night vision. Step 1:Open a web browser and access the camera's web user interface (web UI) and log into your device. For more information on how to access the web UI, click here. 

Step 2:Inside the web UI, click on Setup and access the Configuration menu. 

Step 3:Click on IR Light. 

Step 4:Inside the night vision menu, click on the Mode dropdown menu and select OFF. This will disable the white light LEDs on the front of your camera. 

Step 5:Click Save. 

Using Amcrest View Pro to Disable the Color Night Vision Spotlights

The color night vision spotlights can also be disabled using the Amcrest View Pro app. 

Step 1:Open the Amcrest View Pro app and access the live view screen for your device. 

Step 2:Scroll over and locate the Night Vision option. Tap the night vision icon to disable night vision.
