How To Set Your Helix NVR To A Static IP

It is highly recommended to set your device on a static IP address. This will ensure the device has a more stable connection with your network as well as provide a more efficient means of accessing your device remotely. A static IP address can be setup locally or using the web user interface on a laptop/PC. Step 1: Log into your device locally or using the web UI. For more information on how to access the web UI, click here.  

Step 2: Navigate to Settings>>Network>>TCP/IP. Select the appropriate network card name if applicable and set the mode to Static.

Step 3: Click Apply. The IP address for your device is now set to static.
