The default admin user cannot be deleted or modified, only the password can be modified. However, new additional users with permissions can be created. For more information on how to create new additional users on your device, please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Open a web browser and log into your device. For more information on how to access the web user interface (web UI) for your device, click here.
Step 2: Navigate to Settings>>System>>Account and click Add.
Step 3: Set a username/password for the shared user and set the role for the user using the Group dropdown menu. The shared user role can be set to an administrator (greatest number of privileges), operator (moderate number of privileges), media user (least number of privileges).
Step 4: Set any additional privileges for the shared user in the Privileges menu and set any channels they shared user can access. Click OK.
The shared user has now been added to the system.
