How to Setup a Tour That Will Activate Only When Motion is Detected (IP2M-863EW-AI)

The tour feature allows you to set up multiple locations for the PTZ to cycle through using preset positions. This feature can be activated manually or automatically using the camera's built-in motion detection feature. Please note, this also applies to smart motion detection (SMD) as well as this feature works with motion detection to detect only when a human or motor vehicle has been detected. For more information on how to set up a tour that will activate only when motion is detected, please refer to the information provided below.

Once a motion event is detected, the tour will begin. Each position will last about 15 seconds each and when the tour is over the camera will return to its original position. Smart motion detection (SMD) can be activated as a filter to detect only when a human or vehicle is detected if needed.

To activate SMD, click on the Smart Motion Detection option located in the Event tab. Enable the feature and select an effective object filter (Human/Motor Vehicle). Click Save
