The NAS option allows you to store events to a centralized location using the camera's built in NAS protocol storage settings. For more information on how to enable NAS settings on your Amcrest device please refer to the information provided below.
Step 1: Open the web user interface (Web UI) of your camera using a web browser. For more information on how to access the web UI, click here.
Step 2: Click on the Settings icon and select Storage.
Step 3: Select Storage Setting, then in the Storage Method dropdown menu select NAS Setting.
Step 4: Select Enable, click OK, then enter the server IP and storage path of you NAS and click Apply.
Step 5: Log into your Synology NAS using its IP address.
Step 6: Enter into the “Package Center” and download “Surveillance Station”.
Step 7: Surveillance Station is a web-based application that manages IP cameras to safeguard your home or office environment.
Step 8: After installing “Surveillance Station”, you will be able to search for it at the top right-hand side of the page. Click on the software upon finding it and it will open up on a separate tab.
Step 9: Once you are logged into the Surveillance Station, navigate to “IP Camera”.
Step 10: Click on “Add” to add your camera to the software.
Step 11: Select “Quick Setup” to add your IP camera then hit “Next”.
Step 12: You will then put input the information needed to run the camera on the software & click “Test Connection” when all the information is put in.
Step 13: After it succeeds, click “Finished” at the bottom right.
Step 14: Once the camera is added, you will then be able to go to “Recording” and access all the recordings of the camera. You can use the camera name to find the camera
