How To Insert a MicroSD Card (IP5M-T1179E)

Before inserting a microSD card into your camera, please make sure the camera is unplugged from power, your card is class 10, and properly formatted to FAT32. A microSD card that does not meet this criteria may experience compatibility issues with your device. For more information on how to format your microSD card, click here.

Note: A Phillips head screwdriver will be needed to complete the procedure.

Step 1: Locate the Reset hatch on the top of the camera. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the 2 security screws to open the hatch. 

Step 2: Locate the microSD card slot inside the reset hatch. Insert your microSD card into the slot ensuring it slides into the slot. Press the card into the slot and release to secure the card into the camera. 

Note: To remove the microSD card from the camera, press in on the card and release to remove the microSD card from the slot. 

Step 3: Once the microSD card has been inserted, place the reset hatch back onto the camera and secure it to the camera using a Phillips head screwdriver and security screws.
