Physical Installation Guide (IP5M-T1179E-28MM)

The camera will come with the included items which are needed for the physical installation of your camera. Please note, this is a PoE camera and should not require a power adapter to function. Please note, if you are not using PoE to power the device, a 12V, 2.0A power adapter (sold separately) will be needed to power the camera. For more information on how to physically install your camera, please refer to the information provided below.

• A Phillips head screwdriver
• A drill
• A 1" Paddle bit (Optional)

• A 12V, 2.0A power adapter (IF NOT USING PoE).

Inserting a MicroSD card

The camera is compatible with a microSD card, class 10 or higher, with a max storage capacity of 256GB. To insert a microSD card, use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the microSD card/reset button cover. Locate the microSD card slot and insert your microSD card. Press and release to secure the card inside the camera. Place the cover onto the camera and secure using your Phillips head screwdriver. 

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Place the installation template sticker on the mounting surface. Then, using a drill, drill 3 installation holes. 

Note: Use a 1" paddle bit in the center of the installation template if you are running the cables through the mounting surface. 

Step 2: Place the included wall anchors into the installation holes. 

Step 3: Align the holes on the installation bracket to the installation holes. Also, make sure to align the "Front" and "Up" portions of the bracket to the installation sticker. 

Insert the screws and using a Phillips head screwdriver, secure the installation bracket to the mounting surface. 

Step 4: Run the wires of the camera through the mounting surface and attach the bottom of the camera to the installation bracket. The "Front" tab should align to the notch on the bottom of the camera. Push the camera forward to lock it onto the installation bracket. 

Installation Cable Through the Side Cable Tray

Step 1: Place the installation template sticker on the mounting surface. Then, using a drill, drill 3 installation holes. 

Step 2: Place the included wall anchors into the installation holes. 

Step 3: Align the holes on the installation bracket to the installation holes. Also, make sure to align the "Front" and "Up" portions of the bracket to the installation sticker. 

Step 4: Remove the side cable tray insertion piece on the camera and insert the cable making it flush to the bottom bracket surface.

Step 5: Align the “Front” tab of the installation bracket to the notch on the camera insert the camera and move forward to secure the camera to the installation bracket.
