How to Adjust the Camera (IP8M-2496E)

When mounting your camera in certain installation environments, such as eaves or other areas which will require you to adjust the direction of your camera, a Phillips head screwdriver will be required to adjust the camera.

Inside the bracket, there is a ball joint that allows the camera to be adjusted to any desired direction. A security screw on the side of the base can be adjusted to loosen the ball joint allowing the camera to move freely.

Note: It is highly recommended to adjust the base of the camera first before physically installing the camera. The camera will not be able to pivot left or right while physically installed.

Preinstallation

It is recommended to adjust your camera in the direction you want before physical installation. If you have not installed the camera yet please follow the instructions below to adjust your camera.

Step 1: Using a Phillips head screwdriver, loosen the security screw found on the installation bracket.
