How To Enable or Disable Different Night Vision Settings (IP2M-863EW-AI-V3)

This model features three different night vision modes which allows the camera to view objects at night up to 98ft away. It features an IR mode, which allows the camera to use IR LEDs to see at night, a white light mode, which allows the camera to use white light LEDs to achieve color night vision, and a smart illumination mode, which allows the camera to use IR LED to see at night, however, when a motion is detected, the deterrent LEDs will flash.

Step 1: Ensure your computer is on the same network as the camera and log into the web UI. For more information on accessing the web UI, click here. 

Step 2: Navigate to Setup>>Configuration>>IR Light and select the Fill Light drop down menu. 

Step 3: By default, the camera will be set to Smart Illumination. Smart illumination will have the IR LEDs illuminate at night, however, will flash the red/blue LEDs once a motion even is detected. Select a different night vision setting, such as IR Mode (activates IR LEDs for B/W night vision) or White Light Mode.

Step 4: Click Save to apply the new night vision settings to the camera. 

Note: To disable night vision completely, access the Mode menu and select OFF. Click Save to save and apply the settings.
