Upgrading your WiFi Smart Plug to the latest Firmware (AH357)

Any WiFi Smart Plug should always be operating on the latest firmware version available.

If you are experiencing intermittent connectivity to the internet, random resets of the plug, or any general difficulty in using the app or the Smart Plug, you must make sure there is no available firmware update which would indicate you are not on the latest version. 

The WiFi Smart Plug cannot be expected to work as advertised unless it is up to date. 

Please always make sure you have the latest version before trying any other troubleshooting steps or contacting support. 


UPDATE PROCEDURE FOR ANDROID

1. Reset the WiFi Smart Plug by pressing and holding the button on the device for 4 seconds and then releasing. 

2. When the blue indicator starts to blink slowly, enter the app, open More->Update firmware-> and tap the update button to upgrade.

3. When the blue indicator light goes constant, it means the plug is updating. Please wait 1-2 minutes.

4. When the blue indicator light starts blinks slowly, you should see the app prompt you that the upgrade is successful. Please re-configure your WiFi Smart Plug.

5. When you have confirmed that the app and plug are working, the process is complete and you can use them freely. 

 

UPDATE PROCEDURE FOR IPHONE

1. Enter the app, open More->Update firmware-> and tap the update button to download the firmware to the smartphone.

2. Reset the WiFi Smart Plug by pressing and holding the button on the device for 4 seconds and then releasing. 

3. Connect your smartphone to your Smart Plug's OK_SP3 wireless network. 

4. On your app, open More->Update firmware-> and tap the update button to upgrade. Wait for around 2 minutes. 

5. When the blue indicator light starts blinking slowly, the app should prompt you that the upgrade was successful. Please re-configure your WiFi Smart Plug.

6. When you have confirmed that the app is working, the process is complete and you can use it freely.
