How to Set a Static IP (ADC2W)

Setting the camera to a static IP will allow the camera to retain an assigned IP address for your device. The Amcrest Smart Home app allows you to set your device to a static IP address. For more information on how to set your device to a static IP, please refer to the information provided below. 

Step 1: Open the Amcrest Smart Home app and access the device. Tap on Settings (mceclip0.png).

Step 2: Tap on Device Information

Step 3: Tap on the IP Address field. Please note, the IP address shown in this field may be different than the IP address shown in the image.

Step 4: Tap on the Wireless IP field and enter a static IP address. It is highly recommended to only increase the 4th integer of the IP address by 1 in this category when setting a static IP. Tap the mceclip1.png icon.

Note: The camera will be inaccessible for 1-2 minutes while the static IP is being set. Allow the camera to initialize, close the Amcrest Smart Home app, and access the device. The device will not be set with a static IP.
