How To Configure a Motion Detection Schedule Using the Web UI (NVR)

A motion detection schedule will set your camera to detect motion only at specified days and times. By default, this will be set to record 24/7, however for more information on how to configure a motion detection schedule, please refer to the information provided below. 

Setting Up a Motion Detection Schedule Using Web UI

Please make sure you have direct access to the IP address for your device or your computer is on the same network as your NVR. For more information on how to access the web user interface (web UI) for your device, click here.

tep 1: Log into your NVR using your username and password.

Step 2: Click on the Settings icon.

Step 3: In the Settings menu, click on the Event tab and select Detect from the menu. This will bring you to your motion detection settings.

Step 3: Ensure that the Enable check box is enabled and then chose which device you would like to setup from the channel drop down menu. Click on the Setup button located in the Period field.

Step 4: Click and drag on the yellow bars to manually specify a time period. For more detail you can use the motion schedule

The system allows for the configuration of up to 6 different time periods. Choose which days of the ween you would like your motion schedule to apply. If you would like to specific it for all days, click on All. Type in a start time and end time for a specific period. This can range from 00:00 - 23:59. 

For instance, in this example we will be setting the a motion schedule to apply to all days of the week from 0600 (6am) to 1700 (5pm). So the camera will being to record motion at 6am and then stop recording motion at 5pm. 

Step 5: Once the settings for your schedule have been applied, click on the Save button. This will save your motion detection schedule to your device.
