How To Perform a Factory Reset (IP2M-866W)

Prior to performing a physical, hard factory reset, it is recommended to first perform a reset via the web user interface (Web UI) of the camera on a computer. This is useful as well if you do not have direct, physical access to your camera. For more information on how to perform a factory reset in the web UI of your camera, click here.

To perform a factory reset on your device, please follow the instructions provided below. 

Step 1: Turn over the device. On the bottom of the device you will notice a device cover. Using a Phillips head screwdriver remove the device cover to access the microSD card slot and factory reset button.

Step 2: To begin, press and hold down the reset button for 10 - 15 seconds. 

Step 3: Release the reset button and allow the device to complete its reset process. Once the device has completed its reset process all settings will be reset to default, factory settings.

Note: There is not an indicator light available on this device. Once the factory reset process has finished the device will reset and the camera will begin to slowly rotate from left to right.
