How To Flip an Image

This article will highlight how to flip the image of your video stream using both the Amcrest Cloud app and Amcrest View pro app on your mobile device. For more information on how to perform the procedure, refer to the information provided below. 

Amcrest Cloud 

If you have not had a chance to setup your camera on the Amcrest Cloud and would like more information on how to perform the procedure, click here.

Step 1: Using the Amcrest Cloud app, locate the camera you would like to modify and tap on the settings (Screenshot_20181008-105017__1_.png) icon.

Step 2: Tap on Image Appearance to modify the video stream appearance.

Step 3: Tap on Flip to flip the image in the app.

Note: If you have a 4MP or above camera the image flip will only be 0 and 90 degrees.

Step 4: When the video stream resolution has been set, tap on the the save (Screenshot_20181008-105050.png) icon to save and apply your video streams settings to your device.

Amcrest View Pro

If you have not had a chance to set up your camera in the Amcrest View Pro app, please follow the setup procedures provided here

Step 1: Open the Amcrest View Pro app on your mobile device and access the live feed for your camera via the device list. Tap on Start Live View to access your live feed.

Step 2: Use the carousel bar to scroll to the flip (Screenshot_20181008-114038.png) icon. Tap on the flip icon to access the flip menu.

Step 3: Use the flip options located in this menu to flip the image in the app.
