How To Perform a Factory Reset (IPM-722)
Prior to performing a physical, hard factory reset, it is recommended to first perform a reset via the web user interface (Web UI) of the camera on a computer. This is useful as well if you do not have direct, physical access to your camera. For more information on how to perform a factory reset in the web UI of your camera, click here.
To perform a hard reset on the IPM-722 Wi-Fi camera, please follow the step by step instructions provided below.
Note: After performing this procedure, your username and password will be reset back to admin.
Step 1: On the wire harness of the camera, locate the reset wires attached to the unit. The reset wires will be denoted by a green and white wire.
Step 2: Touch the ends of the wires together and hold for 30 seconds. Separate the wires and give about the camera an additional minute to complete the reset process.
Congratulations! You have just factory reset your camera. You can now log into your camera using the default username and password which is admin.
