How To Perform A Factory Reset On A IP2M-850E

Note: Prior to performing a physical, hard factory reset, it is recommended to first perform a reset via the web user interface (Web UI) of the camera on a computer. This is useful as well if you do not have direct, physical access to your camera. For more information on how to perform a factory reset in the web UI of your camera, click here.

To perform a reset on a IP2M-850E camera, please follow these steps.

Turn the camera until the screws and open the slot. Please verify power is available to the camera while doing the process.

Press and Hold the button for 45 seconds, then let it go.

The device should be reset from this point.The password and username should also reset to admin. I would recommend to keep your password to 6-30 characters no special character or symbols. Letters and numbers only and letters are case sensitive. 

Note: If using the app to configure. please make sure you delete the previous profile for the specific device that was reset. then add new device under device manager.
